Trilobites

The Gerastos Trilobite is a Devonian Arthropod, this specie is known for its tubeculate cephalon or small tubercles to the snout and head, also with reasonably large eyes for its size.

The Trilobites have been prepared to expose their exoskeleton, seated on their original bed rock of limestone.

Brief Trilobite History

The Gerastos Trilobite was a member of the Proetida Order, Family of the Proetidae.

The Proetidae Trilobites were among the last of the Arthropods to become extinct in the Permian Period, over 100 million years later.
